Responsibilities

• Provide for instructional needs with an appropriate daily lesson plan from the classroom teacher.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and time efficiency.
• Demonstrate a variety of teaching techniques using different resources to implement the curriculum.
• Maintain fair, firm, and consistent behavior toward students and promote self-discipline.
• Follow the established school discipline policy for effective classroom management.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and the community.
• Assist in achieving school goals by following policies and procedures.
• Supervise students in various school settings and maintain records.
