Chambliss, Bahner, Stophel, P.C. seeks a commercial transactional attorney to join our Real Estate section in Chattanooga, TN.

The attorney will leverage an established client base to grow practice, handling complex real estate transactions with experience across structuring, finance, leasing, and zoning. Candidates should have at least 3 years of transactional CRE experience, a JD from an accredited law school, and bar admission in Tennessee or eligibility.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• At least 3 years of transactional commercial real estate experience.
• Bar admission in Tennessee or ability to seek admission in Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial real estate documents (leases, purchase/sale agreements, LOIs, easements, covenants, restrictions).
• Conduct due diligence and manage deal from agreement to closing, including title, survey and environmental reports.
• Facilitate closings and post-closing administration.
• Draft and review operating agreements, bylaws, shareholder agreements, and related contracts.
• Draft and negotiate loan documents (if applicable).
• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to organize client files and drive deals to close.
