Qualifications

• Current California RDA or RDAEF license is required.
• Radiology/X-ray certification is required.
• Experience with Open Dental is required.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, infection control and sterilization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, organized, and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during dental procedures and provide chairside support.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient care.
• Take dental radiographs in compliance with California regulations.
• Take digital impressions and scans.
• Assist with restorative, crown and bridge, implants, Invisalign and other procedures.
• Perform coronal polishing and expanded functions as licensed.
• Maintain sterilization, infection control, and OSHA standards.
• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment and operatories.
• Provide clear pre- and post-treatment instructions to patients.
• Support efficient patient flow and clinic schedule.
