Job summary

Rodeo Dental seeks a Registered Dental Assistant to provide direct patient care across multiple specialties, working in both Back Office and world-class lobbies. The role emphasizes patient experience, chairside assistance, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced team environment.

Flexible schedule with potential evenings and weekends required to support patient needs. Active Texas RDA license and CPR/AED are mandatory, with nitrous monitoring and continued OSHA/HIPAA training.

Qualifications

• Active RDA license with Texas State Board of Dental Examiners
• CPR and AED training current
• Nitrous oxide monitoring certification preferred
• OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training up to date
• Experience with Open Dental or Dentrix a plus
• Sealant/Coronal Polishing/PALS certifications a plus
• Bilingual Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographs and document patient charts
• Prepare tray setups per doctor preferences
• Assist in back office and lobby patient interactions
• Educate patients on oral health benefits
• Maintain patient safety and infection control protocols
• Inventory management and restocking
• Clean and disinfect exam rooms and operatories
• Assist with charting and treatment plans
• Ensure accurate health histories and insurance eligibility
• Support team with daily duties as assigned
