Job summary

Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics in Texas is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support back-office and lobby teams, delivering high-quality patient care across specialties and ensuring a seamless patient experience. The ideal candidate holds an active RDA license, CPR/AED certification, and experience with dental software (Open Dental or Dentrix).

Bilingual Spanish required; flexibility for evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

Active RDA license registered with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE).
Current CPR and AED training.
Certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide preferred.
Annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.
Dental practice management software experience (Open Dental/Dentrix) is helpful.
Sealant, Coronal Polishing, or PALS certifications are a huge plus.
Bilingual Spanish required.

Responsibilities

End of week inventory to replenish inventory with Lead DA.
Maintain patient health history, insurance eligibility, treatment plans, and authorizations.
Chart treatments and update patient charts with fillings, crowns, sealants, etc.
Take diagnostic X‑Rays and attach to patient chart.
Educate patients on oral health benefits.
Ensure exam rooms and operatories are cleaned and stocked according to standards.
