Job summary

Uloop Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team in Miami. You will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans, help patients regain mobility, and enhance quality of life across inpatient, outpatient, sub-acute, and post-acute settings.

This paid position offers opportunities to further clinical skills in a collaborative environment. Hours are 9:00am–6:00pm, with full-time and part-time options based on scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support treatment delivery.
• Experience across inpatient, outpatient, or sub-acute care settings.
• Familiarity with orthotics and hand therapy practices.
• Outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing personalized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic, geriatric, neurological, or post-surgical needs.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment used in therapy sessions, ensuring safety and proper functioning.
• Support hand therapy occupational practices and orthotics interventions within the scope of practice.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatments accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and post-discharge care strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and dance therapists to optimize patient outcomes.
