Job summary

Qualifications

• Supervise PTAs, Rehab Techs, and PT students per state guidelines, providing consultation.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapist.
• Assist in screening and providing input to initial evaluations.
• Implement treatment for all assigned patients in accordance with the plan of care.
• Comply with documentation and billing guidelines.
• Establish and maintain patient-centered interactions with patients and staff.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians during group and individual treatment.
• Actively integrate physical therapy services into facility and interdisciplinary treatment plans.
• Participate in utilization review, case management, care conferences, and family conferences as directed by the PT.
• Maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and colleagues.
• Make referrals to other rehab team members.
• Communicate patient progress to the supervising physical therapist in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and privacy policies.
• Pursue continuing education and professional development.
