Job summary

Assisting Hands - Miami is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-home care team in Miami-Dade County, FL. You will work under a licensed PT to help clients regain mobility and independence.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, guiding exercises, monitoring progress, educating families, and maintaining accurate records in line with state regulations. This role requires a Florida PTA license, CPR certification, and a minimum of one year’s experience in

Qualifications

Valid Florida PTA license.
Minimum 1 year PTA experience.
CPR certification and Level 2 Background Screening.
Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Assist PT in implementing care plans and treatment programs for clients based on their specific needs and goals.
Provide direct physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and manual therapy techniques.
Monitor and document clients' progress, reporting any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Educate clients and their families on exercises and activities to enhance mobility, strength, and independence.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of therapeutic equipment and tools.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency policies and state regulations.
