Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified physical therapy assistants to join our growing team. As a PTA, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist and help implement individualized plans of care to support patient progress.

You will assist with all phases of treatment, document patient conditions after each visit, discuss progress with the therapist and rehab director, and collaborate with facility staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified physical therapy assistant with ability to work under a physical therapist.
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment programs.
• Document patient conditions and responses after each visit.
• Maintain communication with therapists and rehab staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
