Job summary

WeCare at Sugar Creek Care Center in Franklin, PA is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to help residents improve mobility and advance their functional abilities. You will support the physical therapist by adapting treatments and assisting with exercises, modalities, and mobility training in an outpatient-friendly setting.

Candidates should have PTA program graduation and PA PTA licensure, with outpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current State PTA license in Pennsylvania.
• Outpatient experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modify treatments as directed by the physical therapist to help patients progress and ensure safety.
• Prepare patients and equipment and implement treatment plans, including exercise and mobility training.
• Record patients' responses and provide status reports after treatment.
• Use assistive devices and equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.
