Job summary

Encore at Foulk is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients across Parkside, Foulk, and Wilmington under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.

The PTA provides a range of services including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and education to patients and families, with documentation and coordination across the rehab team. A DE PTA license and CPR are required, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Delaware state licensure (PTA).
• CPR certification.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with therapy documentation (NetHealth).
• Must pass medical and physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Attends patient care meetings as a PTA representative under the PT.
• Delivers rehab services per plan of care and documents services timely.
• Collaborates with rehab team to implement patient programs.
• Assists PT during tests and evaluations.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in therapy techniques.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports repairs.
• Implements individualized treatment plans.
• Performs related duties as required.
