Job summary

Encore at Parkside is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support rehabilitation across three communities: Parkside, Foulk, and Wilmington. The PTA will provide directed therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, aiming to improve patient independence and function.

Responsibilities include contributing to care planning, documenting services in NetHealth, assisting with tests and treatments, and educating patients and families on therapy techniques.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current Delaware state licensure.
• CPR certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with therapy documentation in NetHealth.

Responsibilities

• Attends patient care and staffing conferences as a PTA representative.
• Delivers rehab services per plan of care and maintains timely documentation.
• Collaborates with rehab team to implement patient programs.
• Assists Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and procedures.
• Educates patients and families on therapy techniques under supervision.
