Job summary

Fccmocksville in North Carolina is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide direct physical therapy services under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, following the physician-ordered plan of care and hospital policies.

You will assist patients in restoring function and preventing disability after disease, injury, or loss, while maintaining access to health information and collaborating with the Rehab Director to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in NC as a Physical Therapist Assistant or eligible for licensure.
• CPR certification required; if not certified must complete upon hire.
• Orientation includes age- and population-specific skills for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Work requires the physical demands of positioning, transferring, and lifting patients.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test and be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services under the supervision of the Licensed Physical Therapist per physician-ordered plan of care.
• Assist patients in the restoration of function and prevention of disability after disease, injury, or loss of limb.
• Maintain access to patient health information in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
