Job summary

NHC HomeCare Dickson is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our care team. You will provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, supporting patient goals and daily treatment plans.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s Degree from an accredited PTA program, is licensed in Georgia, and participates actively in state/national PT associations if possible. We value teamwork, accuracy, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s Degree from an recognized PTA program accredited by the APTA.
• Must hold licensure in the state where practicing.
• Active membership in state/national PTA associations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT services under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assists with evaluation and progress toward goals as directed.
• Maintains daily treatment records and progress notes for patients.
