Job summary

PATH Recreation & Fitness Center is seeking a Program Instructor to design and lead engaging recreational and educational activities for participants of all ages, bringing energy, creativity, and dependable leadership to every session.

You’ll plan age-appropriate programs, support participants’ social, emotional, and physical well-being, supervise groups with safety in mind, assist with registration and records, and collaborate with teammates on events and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to facilitate and supervise group activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate recreational and educational activities.
• Create programming that supports participants’ social, emotional, and physical well-being.
• Actively engage with participants and foster a positive, inclusive environment.
• Facilitate and supervise group activities with safety and fun in mind.
• Assist with program registration, attendance, participant records, and other details.
• Build positive relationships with participants, members, guests, and families.
