The Goddard School of West Chester (Village of Marshallton), PA is seeking a motivated Prekindergarten Teacher to join our caring team. You will work with another experienced Teacher to create engaging programs, manage the classroom, and ensure a safe, stimulating environment for young learners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred.
• Experience with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children.
• Works productively without supervision and can lift up to 50 lbs while caring for children.
• Must pass required state background checks and meet state education/credential requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Foster a love of learning through creative and engaging teaching methods.
• Observe and assess children's development and adjust activities accordingly.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain open communications with parents regarding progress and daily activities.
• Lead daily routines and transitions; manage classroom operations.
