Qualifications

• Valid Alabama Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum B.S. Degree.
• Endorsement in Appropriate Area.
• Highly Qualified status as required.
• Working knowledge of computers and software.
• Must be able to lift, bend, and squat as required.
• Background, Drug, and TB Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Determine individual and class needs.
• Supervise Students.
• Establish objectives and plan learning experiences.
• Implement activities using varied techniques to meet objectives.
• Maintain standards of student behavior for a productive learning environment.
• Exhibit positive human relations skills.
• Demonstrate proficiency in written and oral communication.
• Evaluate educational progress and communicate with parents/guardians.
• Maintain records and reports; adhere to policies and regulations.
• Engage in professional growth and demonstrate ethics and leadership.
• Implement daily learning activities per State Course of Study.
• Shall perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records.
