Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Must have an active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings of residents to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Assist in evaluation and treatment planning under the Physical Therapist guidance.
• Assist in establishing and modifying resident schedules with the team.
• Train residents and families in use of therapy equipment and activities.
