OrthoAtlanta in Stockbridge, GA is seeking a talented Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver skilled PT treatments under physician orders, monitor progress, and educate patients on home exercise programs. You will document treatments, maintain compliant records, and support PT aides while staying organized and compassionate in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in healthcare or related field.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Georgia PTA license (or eligibility).
• Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding procedures.
• Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments under physician orders and plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to supervising Physical Therapist.
• Instruct patients on home exercise programs and post-discharge care.
• Document treatments, progress, and discharge planning accurately and timely.
• Maintain confidential and compliant patient records.
• Record treatment charges and complete documentation daily.
• Assist in maintaining clean, organized treatment areas and equipment.
• Provide support to Physical Therapy Aides as needed.
• Respond to urgent or emergent situations per protocol.
