Responsibilities

• Applies research and proven techniques to prevent or treat conditions that limit the body's ability to move and function, under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Determine/revise priorities for direct/indirect patient care activities and collaborate with nursing to update safe patient handling algorithms.
• Instruct patient and caregiver in treatment programs and document demonstrations of instructions.
• Document all treatments in the EMR according to department policies.
• Submit accurate charges for services rendered using the billing system via the EMR.
• Oversee supervision of students and volunteers as assigned.
