Mercyhealth is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant in Freeport, IL to help implement treatment plans across a variety of patient diagnoses. This full-time daytime role focuses on hands-on care, documentation, and collaboration with therapists and physicians to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Physical Therapy Assistants.
• CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Licensed as a PTA in WI, IL or both if required.

Responsibilities

• Integrates subjective and objective data to follow a treatment plan.
• Utilizes exercises, physical agents, and manual techniques to address deficits.
• Maintains thorough documentation with proper coding and billing.
• Communicates with disciplines and referring providers to enhance outcomes.
• Participates in PI and CQI processes and training activities.
