Job summary

Qualifications

• Current PTA license in practicing state or eligibility for licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to use computers and document patient information effectively.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy treatments as prescribed by the physician under supervision.
• Documents patient progress in daily progress notes and summaries.
• Maintains patient records per standards and policies.
• Travels between facilities as needed to support patient care.
• Educates and trains staff within discipline.
• Achieves productivity levels set by administration.
• Performs other related duties as required.
