Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Current PTA license or eligibility; BLS certification.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; able to travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy treatments as prescribed under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Communicates and documents changes in patient status and informs therapist of reassessments.
• Maintains patient records according to documentation standards and policies.
• Participates in staff and committee projects.
• Achieves established productivity levels set forth by administration.
• Educates and trains others within the discipline.
• Adapts approach to diverse patient populations while respecting privacy and consent.
• Performs other related duties as required.
