Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Physical Therapist Assistant.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross is required. Online certification is not acceptable.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patients’ capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician and Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Assist in patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities and limitations and potential for rehabilitation.
