Qualifications

• Licensed to practice physical therapy in Texas.
• Maintains continuing education requirements as defined by state board.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations and develops/implements the plan of treatment with physician, patient, and family.
• Conducts initial evaluations and plans appropriate therapy programs with physician approval.
• Maintains complete patient documentation including daily progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Coordinates with physicians and staff; communicates treatment and progress.
• Supervises assistants and aides and provides instruction for ongoing care.
