Job summary

Sterling Therapy Providers is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to organize and conduct physical therapy programs for residents, directing participation to promote rehabilitation and independence within the facility.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, developing goals, selecting modalities, training on adaptive devices, and maintaining documentation, while ensuring safety. Flexible scheduling includes full-time, part-time and per diem opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA/APTA-accredited PT program certified by the APTA.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state.
• Ability to develop and implement PT treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents, develops goals, and implements the PT treatment plan with documentation.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices and trains residents in their use.
• Selects physical agent modalities tailored to the individual’s needs.
• Consults with rehabilitation team to determine regimens.
• Instructs residents in mobility skills and evaluates progress.
• Adapts program to residents’ needs.
• Promotes a safe environment and enforces safety.
• Attends care and staff meetings.
• Supervises supportive personnel.
• Orders supplies and maintains equipment.
• Maintains equipment and reports repairs.
• Delivers compassionate, high-quality service.
