Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join MHPT @ Lafayette Center in the Baltimore–Washington metro area. The role covers evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation across diverse patient populations.

The candidate will participate in program planning, protocol development, and mentoring of staff while maintaining a high standard of patient care and customer service. A physician-led system with a strong reputation in the region offers growth and stability.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctoral).
• Graduate of an accredited PT program.
• Licensure in VA, DC, and/or MD as required by location.
• BLS CPR certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluation and determine treatment plan with patient/family involvement.
• Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and patient presentation.
• Document care accurately and timely, including discharge planning and progress notes.
• Manage scheduling and productivity while ensuring patient access and quality care.
• Mentor, educate students and junior staff as part of clinical education.
