Job description

Responsible for exercising the initiative to adapt current methods of practice in the home setting to teach patients, families, other professional and para-professional personnel is appropriate rehab programs. Responsible for supervising the therapy assistant (LPTA) when appropriate, and the Home Health Aide when case managing. Responsible for working within the scope of professional practice regarding judgement, skills, education and experience.

Graduate of a University accredited by the American PhysicalTherapy Association with a BS or MS degree. Valid North Carolina Physical Therapy License. Valid North Carolina Driver's License. BCLS. Should be familiar with acute care, orthopedics, and neurologic patient treatment procedures. One to three years Home Health experience preferred.
