Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, establish a care plan, and provide treatment within PM&R. The role includes documenting and billing for services, and mentoring PT/PTA students as a clinical instructor.

Applicants should have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and be eligible for Texas licensure. The position involves collaboration with physicians, nurses, and staff in a teaching hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree from an accredited physical therapist program.
• If PT license was not yet obtained, eligibility to obtain Texas State license is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and establish a plan of care and treat patients referred to PM&R.
• Complete proper documentation and billing for Physical Therapy.
• Serve as CI for PT/PTA students and educate clinical trainees.
• May be assigned to other specialty areas within PM&R and be competent in all areas.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
