Job summary

UMC Health System in Texas seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, establish a plan of care, and provide effective therapy according to PM&R guidelines. You will document results, bill appropriately, and mentor PT/PTA students as a CI.

Applicants must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and be eligible for a Texas license, with prior licensure before 2015 considered. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree from an accredited physical therapist program.
• If PT license was received prior to 2015, prior educational requirements/criteria will be considered.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a Texas State license.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in evaluation and treatment techniques appropriate to the patient’s age and medical limits.
• Complete proper documentation and billing necessary for Physical Therapy.
• Participate in clinical education by functioning as a CI for PT/PTA students.
• May be assigned to other specialty areas in PM&R and be competent in all assigned areas.
• All other duties and/or assigned responsibilities.
