Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist for a PRN role in the Acute Care setting. The candidate must have a Texas State license and hold an accredited PT degree (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate).

Entry-level candidates are welcome with preferred 1 year of clinical experience. The role emphasizes evaluating and treating patients, developing care plans, and ensuring high-quality care while collaborating with a broad multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PT program (Bachelor/Master/Doctoral).
• One year clinical experience preferred; entry level accepted.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients; establish a plan of care and assess PT programs.
• Maintain high quality patient care at all times.
• Assist in orientation, supervision, and training of staff and students.
• Complete daily documentation and schedule patients.
• May work in other specialty areas as needed and participate in program development.
• Adhere to policies and standards of practice.
