Job summary

MedStar Health – Washington Hospital Center in Timonium is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join Therapy - Timonium. You will evaluate patients, plan and implement treatment, and document progress in a variety of settings.

You will participate in discharge planning, adjust plans as needed, and communicate findings with patients, families, and the care team, while mentoring students and supporting ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed physical therapist with Maryland/DC/VA license as required for location.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
• Graduate of an accredited PT program with clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation services, plans and documents treatment goals with patient and family.
• Implements treatment protocols and revises plans as patient condition evolves.
• Completes discharge planning and accurate, timely documentation of care.
• Manages schedule, maintains productivity, and demonstrates compassionate patient access.
• Mentors students and assists with orientation of new staff and volunteers.

Education

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.

Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
