Job summary

Trinity Health’s Physical Therapy team is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant in Michigan. You will assist the Physical Therapist in developing and executing patient-centered treatment plans, adjusting as needed with the physician’s orders and PT guidance.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, communicating with the care team, and ensuring safe, efficient treatment delivery. On-the-job learning and adherence to ethical standards are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program with an associate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Must be aware of equipment indications and contraindications.
• Able to position patients for treatments and modify plans with PT guidance.
• Able to instruct students, interns, and nurses in therapy methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in developing/executing patient programs.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response with PT input.
• Document therapy progress and billing information accurately.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in daily practice.
