Job summary

Mercy seeks a Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under the supervision of Therapy Leadership. The role includes direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in line with State Practice Acts.

Required: degree in Physical Therapy (DPT/MS/BS with licensure), BLS certification, and current licensure in practice state.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
