Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Personal Trainer in California to deliver personal training services, onboarding sessions, and complimentary services. You will educate members on Core 3 branding and philosophy while managing records and scheduling.

Expect to work with gym members, perform assessments, and promote paid programs. The role requires CPR/AED, a valid trainer certification, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of personal training experience
• Certified personal Trainer
• CPR and AED Certified
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, exciting and comprehensive personal training programs to ensure clients achieve goals
• Monitors and instructs clients during sessions on cardio, flexibility and strength training
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends
• Conducts fitness consultations including pre-participation screening and goal setting
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services
• Completes all administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan
• Remains current on certifications and industry trends
