Job summary

Brown & Crouppen has an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal to work in conjunction with an attorney to effectively manage high volume, top-tiered cases while providing excellent support to our clients.

Duties include ordering and reviewing police reports, medical records, pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and other litigation documents; managing attorneys’ calendars and court deadlines; and preparing settlement distributions.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal injury preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to handle competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Ordering and reviewing police reports, supplemental reports, medical records, insurance policies, etc.
• Preparing pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, affidavits, medical chronologies, and other litigation support documents.
• Managing attorney’s calendar and court deadlines
• Preparation of settlement distributions and allocations
• Other duties as assigned
