Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, or equivalent, or currently attending high school.
• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Successful background check required per company policy.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume sales environment, handling receipt and payment of cash.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Achieve monthly new account production targets as assigned by management.
• Participate in an in-store sales environment with aisle prospecting as needed.
• Process deposits and pay outs accurately and balance daily transactions.
• Receive cash and checks for deposits and verify amounts and endorsements.
• Protect against counterfeit currency and improper identifications.
• Enter transactions into computer systems and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers.
• Perform tasks requested by supervisors related to bank operations.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Approval limits will be based on established authority levels.
• Stand or walk for extended periods and work in a high-volume, noisy environment.
• Schedules may change based on business needs.
