Job summary

Gentiva Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Hospice Chaplain to provide compassionate spiritual and emotional support to patients and families navigating end-of-life care. This role involves working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in theology or related field and preferably have completed ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education. This position offers flexible hours and a chance to make a difference in the lives of patients during this critical time.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in theology, human services, counseling, psychology, or sociology.
• Minimum of one unit of ACPE‑accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) is required.
• Degrees from accredited institutions are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Conduct visits, prayers, blessings, and rituals as needed.
• Assist families during times of grief and provide bereavement support.
