Job summary

The Watertown Public Library is seeking friendly and energetic candidates for a part-time Library Assistant in the Circulation Department. The role includes mornings, afternoons, one evening per week, and one weekend per month (including Sunday). Starting wage is $19.39 per hour; benefits are not included.

Under supervision, you will perform clerical duties at the main circulation desk, sort and route materials, and assist with phones and other nonprofessional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer-service oriented with a friendly demeanor.
• Proficient with general technology and basic equipment.
• Clear communication skills with the public and staff.
• Some college coursework preferred as indicated in the posting.

Responsibilities
