Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is seeking part-time Event Security personnel in Berkeley, CA. This role offers supplemental income with weekly pay and starting wage of $24.00 per hour, and requires a California Guard Card. You will help check bags, manage access, and provide guest service at events.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Check bags and verify entry while directing guests.
• Screen guests at entry using wand, detector, or ID verification.
• Protect guests and venue assets by monitoring checkpoints for security breaches.
• Respond to crowd-control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Provide directions and helpful information to enhance guest experience.
