Job summary

Compass Group USA's Eurest division is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to support events at Waveguide, 610 Main Street, Cambridge, MA. The role interfaces with clients, sets up, operates, and troubleshoots AV gear for meetings and presentations, ensuring timely delivery and positive customer relations.

Requires at least 2 years of AV experience, proficient computer skills, and strong communication. Monday–Friday schedule with variable hours; applications accepted continuously.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience supporting audio visual for events.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews customer and meeting planner requests and provides equipment/assistance on-site.
• Provides problem escalation support and follows up on service challenges.
• Provides technical assistance for meetings requiring AV services.
• Follows SOPs for audio-visual support as directed by management.
• Manages room equipment inventory and coordinates with partners for updates.
