Job summary

Arizona State University (ASU) is seeking a Field Service Specialist for Parking and Transit Services. Based in Los Angeles, you will support a specialized facility, coordinate customer service for faculty, staff, students and guests, and ensure garage equipment is operational.

The role requires outdoor work and cross-training across UBS teams. The position offers a dynamic, hands-on environment with opportunities to learn new technologies and processes, supporting events and campus operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma and two years experience in the field; or any equivalent combination of experience or training.
• Strong Customer Service Skills: ability to provide a welcoming and positive experience to all customers.
• Effective Communication: clear interaction with customers, coworkers, and supervisors, in person, by phone or radio.

Responsibilities

• Approach customers in a positive, professional manner and provide high level customer service.
• Greet customers and present a professional image in appearance and communication.
• Use parking software to provide payment options.
• Prepare logs and report service/maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Respond to intercom calls and communicate via two-way radio and telephone.
• Provide campus information including directions and parking options.
