Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Coordinator to support our Outside Sales Representatives by placing and coordinating product orders and by providing superior customer service. This is a full-time hourly position with flexible hours and wage commensurate with experience.

The role emphasizes accurate order processing, prompt communication, timely shipping coordination, and collaboration with contractors and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience with lumber and building materials preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sales techniques, concepts and the ability to influence and persuade.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate and timely support to the outside sales team, members of the inside sales team and/or to customers.
• Handle incoming phone calls, emails and questions regarding pricing, availability, delivery, backorders, specifications, returns and order placements.
• Monitors scheduled shipping dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite, as needed.
• Intake customer and contractor issues and delegate handling, as necessary and assist in investigating and resolving the issue within company guidelines.
• Create and provide Quotes and estimates from the salesperson to the customers and contractors.
• Order products for contractors and vendors
• Assist Outside Sales Representatives to improve productivity and efficiency
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers at all times
