Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to collaborate with the OT and Rehab Director, ensuring the therapy program is integrated into each patient’s plan of care.

You will guide patients in therapeutic and self-care activities to boost independence, document responses to treatment, and participate in care conferences to coordinate outcomes. A Texas OTA license and OTA training are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas license to practice as an OTA.
• Two years’ OTA home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and collaborates with the Occupational Therapist and Rehab Director to integrate the therapeutic program into the care plan.
• Guides and teaches the patient in therapy, self-care, and activities to improve function and independence.
• Observes and documents patient responses to treatment and changes in condition.
• Participates in patient case conferences to coordinate plans of care.
• Reports pain, illness, or adverse reactions to OT and RN.
