Job summary
Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-focused OT services under the supervision of an licensed OT. You will deliver therapy aligned with individualized plans of care and collaborate with rehab teams to maximize patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate has completed an ACOTE-accredited OTA program and holds an active OTA state license. The role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to quality care in a clinical setting based
Qualifications
- ACOTE-accredited OTA program completed
- Valid OTA state license held
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English
Responsibilities
- Support patients in improving functional abilities under the supervision of an OT
- Contribute to OTA program development and success
- Enhance clinical, professional and leadership skills through collaboration and education
- Maintain valid state license and stay updated on OT and healthcare developments
- Understand and apply appropriate billing practices and treatment models to meet standards
- Deliver care aligned with goals and measurable outcomes
- Follow infection control and safety protocols in the facility
- Communicate effectively in English for documentation and care
