Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking an RN to join the Orthopedics Trauma and Fracture team in Portland, ME. This ambulatory care role provides high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, assisting physicians and care teams in delivering excellent care.

The RN II level demonstrates competency with onboarding progression; a BSN is preferred and current BLS is required. Base pay ranges per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality ambulatory care to patients and families.
• Perform assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering care.
