Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for Ambulatory Care in Portland, Maine. The RN will provide high quality patient care across screening, assessment, and coordination with physicians and APPs. The role advances with onboarding and requires an active RN license and BLS.

The base pay range is $34.35–$46.46 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including paid parental leave and ongoing development opportunities. Part-time pay is prorated to hours worked.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to support physicians/advanced practice clinicians.
• Assist in delivering comprehensive care across ambulatory settings.
