Job summary
MaineHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the Preble Street Learning Collaborative in Portland, ME. This part-time role supports the CONNECT program, delivering trauma-informed care across shelters, encampments, and clinics.
The RN will perform triage, wound care, education, and care coordination, partnering with PMHNPs and MOCMs to support patients, including housing services, with a 0.6 FTE schedule and competitive benefits.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- License/Certifications: Current applicable state license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- Experience: One year of recent RN experience required.
Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-informed nursing care to CONNECT patients with PMHNP and MOCM.
- Care delivery in community settings and outpatient clinic.
- Documentation of patient encounters in EHR and regulatory paperwork.
- Coordinate referrals, follow-up, and medication documentation.
- Support housing initiatives through Rapid Rehousing Services.
