Job summary

Davenport Ambulatory Surgery Center is actively seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team in Davenport, FL. The ideal candidate will have a current Florida nursing license, active CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and strong OR experience.

BSN preferred and CNOR preferred; candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care across

Qualifications

• Current Florida Nursing License.
• Current CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• CNOR preferred.
• Strong operating room nurse experience required.
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptivity to change, creativity, and innovation.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgical procedures
• Perform excellent management of the operative patient
• Understands principles of aseptic technique with implementation
• Ability to care for patients from pediatric to geriatrics
• Excellent standing with the Florida Board of Nursing
• Willingness to perform necessary downtime work
• Willingness to learn new tasks

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff to maintain patient safety.
• Ensure aseptic techniques and sterile field maintenance.
