Job summary

Davenport Ambulatory Surgery Center in Davenport, FL seeks an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will manage operative patients with aseptic technique, collaborate with physicians and staff, and support pediatric through geriatric cases.

Required Florida nursing license, CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, and strong OR experience. CNOR and BSN preferred; willing to learn, adapt to change, and maintain excellent patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Nursing License.
• CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• CNOR preferred.
• Strong operating room nurse experience required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and maintain patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform excellent management of the operative patient.
• Understand and implement aseptic technique.
• Care for patients from pediatric to geriatric.
• Recognize, evaluate, and solve problems to correct errors.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, physicians, and vendors.
• Willingness to perform downtime tasks and learn new skills.
